this blue ethic

This blue is an ecological-emotional pact. This blue recognizes the entanglement of the climate crisis in unsustainable mining practices, overwhelming amounts of plastics in our waterways, and environmental toxins (inner and outer) inherited from layered synthetics.

This blue is not lapis lazuli from the Kokcha River valley caves in Afghanistan, mines west of Lake Baikal in Russia, the Andes in Chile, neither Angola, Argentina, Burma, Canada, Italy, India, Mongolia, Pakistan, nor the United States. This blue - 90% earthen clay, 10% non-toxic minerals and walnut oil - is sustainably sourced in France.

This blue is awareness that we are lost at sea suffocating on microplastics, as they damage our digestive tracts, diminish the urge to eat, amplify our hunger, and reduce our growth and reproductive health. This blue recognizes we are starving....

This blue is not Asbestos and Benzene in school supplies. This blue does not have solvents such as turpentine, paint thinner, mineral spirits, and varnish which emit toxic Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) while drying. This blue does not have heavy metals, flame-retardants, PCBs, lead, mercury, dioxins, bisphenol-A, phthalates, perfluorinated acids, or newer pesticides, which can be found inside many of us.

This blue is about subtle shifts, veins, brain health, movement, and morphing waves of transformation vitally needed to realize - some things are never washed away.
